Description
3M Scotch-Brite Hand Pads are commonly used throughout aircraft maintenance to clean, condition and prepare surfaces for inspection, repair, sealing and painting while maintaining excellent control over material removal and surface finish.
Heavy Duty Hand Pad 7440 is the most aggressive and durable hand pad. Its super dense construction makes it an excellent choice for your heaviest cleaning, deburring, and finishing applications. Medium grade aluminum oxide abrasive. Brown in color.
Light Cleansing Hand Pad 7445 is an excellent choice when you require a mild abrasive. The conformable web and fine mineral are the perfect pairing when you need a gentle touch for light cleaning or a fine finish. White in color.
General Purpose Hand Pad 7447 combines flexibility with effective cutting action and precise hand control to accomplish tough cleaning jobs or produce fine finishing results. Maroon in color.
Ultra Fine Hand Pad 7448 combines durability for long life, flexibility for reaching tight areas, and can be used in place of steel wool for conditioning metal surfaces and paint prep. Light gray in color.

Removes old gasket residue, adhesive residue and sealant remnants without excessive material removal.
Cleans machined parts during overhaul or component repair.
