Business Aircraft Consumables (BAC) is centrally located near Chicago, Illinois, allowing us to efficiently ship aviation consumables throughout the United States and internationally. We offer multiple shipping options to help meet routine maintenance requirements as well as time-sensitive AOG situations.

BAC ships from the Chicago-area region, providing convenient access to customers throughout the United States. Shipping options and delivery times depend on product availability, destination, package dimensions, weight, and any applicable hazardous-material restrictions.
Same-Day Shipping Cutoff
In-stock orders placed before 3:00 PM Central Time Monday through Friday will be shipped the same business day. BAC can often accommodate orders later in the afternoon, sometimes through approximately 4:30 PM Central Time. If same-day shipment is critical, especially for late-afternoon express orders, please call BAC at 888-239-6625.

Hazmat, Aerosols & Restricted Shipments
Important Shipping Restrictions
Some aviation consumables are classified as hazardous materials or otherwise have transportation restrictions. Shipping options depend on the specific product and applicable carrier regulations.
- BAC does not ship ORM-D, limited-quantity, or hazmat items via air/express.
- All aerosols must ship by ground.
- Non-hazardous products may be eligible for express shipping.
- USPS cannot be used for aerosols, liquids, lithium batteries, or other dangerous goods subject to postal restrictions.
Can Hazmat Be Shipped to a Residential Address?
Hazmat shipments must ship via FedEx Ground to a commercial address. FedEx does not ship hazmat to residential addresses.
A person over the age of 21 must be present at delivery to sign for the shipment.
If a hazmat shipment is returned because no authorized person is available to sign or the business is closed, the customer is responsible for return-to-sender and reshipment charges.
How Shipping Costs Are Calculated
Shipping charges depend on the total weight of the order, package dimensions, destination, and shipping method.
Delivery & Transit Times
Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
BAC can ship eligible products through USPS, although U.S. Mail orders may take additional time to arrive.
Aerosols, liquids, lithium batteries, and other dangerous goods cannot be sent through USPS when prohibited by applicable postal regulations.
How long will a ground shipment take?
Ground transit time depends on the destination. BAC ships from ZIP code 60014.
Use the applicable carrier service map for the most accurate transit estimate based on your destination.
Important: Carrier transit times are estimates and are separate from BAC's order processing time.
Does BAC ship on weekends?
BAC does not normally ship orders on weekends. Orders received outside normal business hours will generally be processed on the next business day.
Returns
BAC understands that ordering aviation consumables sometimes requires flexibility. Most eligible returns can be processed by contacting BAC within the required return period.
30-Day Return Window
Most returns must be initiated by calling 888-239-6625 within 30 days of shipment.
Resalable Condition
Returned products must be in resalable condition to qualify for a refund or credit.
Shelf-Life Products
Shelf-life products must have at least 50% of their shelf life remaining at the time of return.

- Confirm that the product is eligible for return.
- Ensure the product is in resalable condition.
- For shelf-life products, verify that at least 50% shelf life remains.
Non-Stock & Special-Order Products
Can I return a non-stock or special-order item?
Returns of products that BAC has specially ordered or sourced are considered on a case-by-case basis.
BAC will make reasonable efforts to return the product to the vendor according to the vendor's return policy. However, a restocking fee may apply in some cases.
Closeout Items
All Closeout Sales Are Final
Closeout items are not eligible for return. All sales of closeout products are final.
