Torq-Set Screwdriver Bits

Torq-Set screwdriver bits from Apex have a cruciform screw drive used in torque-sensitive aerospace applications. The Torq-Set head is similar in appearance to a Phillips drive in that it has a cross with 4 arms. However, in Torq-Set screw heads the arms of the cross are offset from eachother so they do not align to form intersecting slots across the top of the head. Because of this, a regular Phillips or flat-head screwdriver will not fit the head.

Apex Torq-Set screwdriver bits are specifically engineered to handle the unique fasteners commonly found in the aerospace industry. Known for their distinct cruciform design, these bits provide precise engagement with Torq-Set screws, ensuring secure fastening and reducing the risk of cam-out or damage to fastener heads. Manufactured from premium materials, Apex Torq-Set bits offer superior durability and resistance to wear, making them ideal for high-performance applications in demanding aviation environments. These bits are critical in tasks such as assembling and maintaining vital aircraft systems, where precision and adherence to strict safety standards are paramount. Trusted by aviation professionals worldwide, Apex Torq-Set screwdriver bits contribute to maintaining the reliability and airworthiness of modern aircraft.
