3M 431Q Abrasive Sheets are premium silicon carbide abrasive sheets commonly used in aircraft maintenance for fine sanding, surface preparation, defect removal, and finish refinement. They are intended for hand sanding or use with sanding blocks and are especially valued where a consistent, scratch-free finish is important. Because 3M 431Q uses a silicon carbide mineral, it cuts quickly and produces a very uniform scratch pattern, making it particularly well suited for aerospace finishing operations where high-quality surface preparation is essential.
