1/32" and 1/16" Thickness Options

3M General Purpose Cut-Off Wheels are available in both 1/32-inch and 1/16-inch thicknesses. The appropriate thickness can be selected according to the cutting requirements of the application and the manufacturer's recommendations for the tool and material being cut.

Thinner cut-off wheels can be useful where a narrow kerf and controlled cutting action are desired, while the appropriate wheel thickness should always be selected based on the specific application, equipment, and manufacturer's instructions.

Use With Utility-Type Cut-Off Tools

Always follow the abrasive manufacturer's instructions and the applicable tool manufacturer's requirements for mounting, operating speed, guarding, and safe use. Do not use a cut-off wheel for grinding or side loading unless the manufacturer specifically permits that application.
