Bonderite C-MC 5884 (Turco 5884) Aero Maintenance cleaner is ideal for cleaning compressor blades, guide vanes and rotors of in-service jet engines. Periodic cleaning helps to minimize power loss, abnormal temp increases and increase fuel economy.
This concentrated compressor cleaner is ideal for removing oil, salt and solid deposits. It has an 8.3 to 9.3 pH level that ensures better cleaning of the surfaces without deteriorating the finish. This ash-free, solvent odored cleaner has a specific gravity of 0.96 to 0.98 at 23.9 degrees C and a boiling point of greater than 100 degrees C. The product has 405 grams per liter VOC contents that evaporate slowly without leaving any residues or stains. This liquid cleaner is amber in color and comes in a 5-gallon pail. Shelf life 730 days. Listed in General Electric SPM REF #CO4-140, Pratt & Whitney SPMC-87, Flash point 65°C minimum (Tag Closed Cup). Typically very low in phenol, chloride and sulfur.
